Day-by-day itinerary

Day1

Theory + pool

Advanced physiology, blood shift, residual volume, lung squeeze prevention. Pool: 3:30 static, 55m dynamic, advanced rescue scenarios.
Day2

Mouthfill + 20m dives

Dry mouthfill workshop. 2 open-water dives, practicing equalisation on free fall to 18–20m. Buddy + safety review.
Day3

Depth dives

3 line dives, progressive depth to 30m. Final dive is the certification target. Skill assessment + cert at end.

Prerequisite?

SSI Freediver (Level 1) or equivalent, plus 10+ logged freedives. 15+ years old.

What is mouthfill?

Advanced equalisation technique where you store air in your mouth before descent and use tongue/cheek to push it into the eustachian tubes at depth. Lets you equalise below 20m where Frenzel runs out.

Is 30m safe?

With proper training and a competent buddy, yes. Recreational freediving at depth has lower per-dive risk than alpine climbing. The pool + theory sessions exist specifically to teach you to recognise your limits.

How much depth experience do I need before this?

Realistically 6+ months of regular freediving after Level 1. If you're rusty, do a Freediver refresher (₹3,000) before booking this.

What's after Advanced Freediver?

SSI Performance Freediver (Level 3, 40m depth), typically a separate trip to a deeper location (Cebu / Dahab). Or coaching / competition pathway.
