The PADI Adaptive Support Diver course at Nusa Penida trains certified divers to assist buddies with physical or mental challenges, making the destination's diving more inclusive. It builds the awareness and techniques to adapt training and dive support for divers of differing abilities, useful on Nusa Penida's gentler reefs where supported divers can safely enjoy the underwater world. It counts towards the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.

Practical sessions use Nusa Penida's calmest, most sheltered reefs such as Sental and Sampalan, where supported divers can build confidence away from the strong currents of Manta Point and Crystal Bay. The April-to-November season has the gentlest conditions.
