The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course extends your diving across Baa Atoll in the Maldives, taking you to 30 metres and sharpening core skills through five adventure dives. You build navigation and deep-diving confidence on the current-fed reefs and channels near Dharavandhoo, often alongside mantas, reef sharks and turtles.
PADI Advanced Open Water includes a required Deep and Underwater Navigation dive plus three electives. There is no final exam; it is an experience-building course that extends your depth limit to 30 metres and is a prerequisite for Rescue Diver.
Adventure dives use the deeper channels and current-fed reefs around Dharavandhoo and the wider Baa Atoll, where 27-30°C water and seasonal plankton blooms bring manta rays, reef sharks and eagle rays into view.
