Build real range and confidence with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course in Ambon on the Banda Sea, a training ground spanning muck, reef and a wreck. You complete five adventure dives, including deep and navigation, at sites like the Twilight Zone and the Hesperus, finishing certified to dive to 30 metres.
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver extends your certified depth to 30 metres and is the gateway to the Rescue Diver course. The deep and underwater-navigation adventure dives are mandatory; the remaining three are chosen from the adventure-dive menu.
The course ranges across Ambon's best, the muck of the Twilight Zone, the Coral Gardens reef and the Hesperus wreck, in warm 27-29°C water with moderate currents that build genuine experience. The open Banda Sea is at its best in March-April and September-November.
