The PADI Advanced Open Water course on Havelock opens up deeper diving in the Andaman Sea, qualifying you to 30 metres. Your mandatory deep and navigation dives plus three adventure dives can include sites like Johnny's Gorge and The Wall, where you might meet white-tip sharks, barracuda schools and turtles. Many divers consider it the most enjoyable step in recreational diving.
PADI's Advanced course uses eLearning, lets you customise adventure dives, and issues a PADI digital card with the option to count dives toward specialties.
Advanced dives explore Havelock's deeper sites like Johnny's Gorge and The Wall, with the deep dive taking you beyond 18 metres toward 30 in clear, warm Andaman water. Expect close encounters with white-tip sharks, schooling barracuda, octopus and reef turtles. The deep and navigation dives can be combined with a night dive across a two-day course.
