Course overview

Open up more of Raja Ampat's diving with the PADI Advanced Open Water course, which takes you to 30 metres and introduces the skills needed for current, deep and drift conditions. Across five adventure dives on sites such as Cape Kri, Blue Magic and the manta cleaning stations, you build the confidence to dive this demanding region's best reefs. This PADI dive course is the most popular next step after Open Water scuba diving.

What you’ll learn

• Plan and conduct dives to 30 metres
• Navigate underwater with natural references and a compass
• Apply deep-diving and gas-management awareness
• Build skills across three elective adventure dives such as drift or fish ID

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (Junior Advanced) or 15
• PADI Open Water Diver or qualifying certification from another agency
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

   Complete the core Deep and Underwater Navigation adventure dives on local reefs.
2. Day2
   Elective dives and certification

   Choose three electives such as drift or fish ID at sites like Cape Kri and Blue Magic, then certify.
