The PADI Advanced Open Water course opens up Rasdhoo Atoll's signature dives, taking certified divers deeper and into the drift and channel diving this island is built for. Across five adventure dives you build the skills to handle current, deep walls and navigation. You finish certified to 30 metres and ready for sites like Madivaru Corner and the early-morning hammerhead trips.
PADI Advanced Open Water requires five adventure dives, including the Deep and Underwater Navigation dives, and certifies you to 30 metres. There is no final exam; completed adventure dives can later be credited toward matching specialty certifications.
Advanced training spans the atoll's variety, pairing deep walls like Bodu Gaa with contoured reefs such as Holhi Faru for navigation, and drift dives through Madivaru Corner and the channels. Reaching 30 metres opens up the silvertip walls and dawn hammerhead dives that set Rasdhoo apart, ideally between November and April.
