This PADI-aligned Basic Diver path is a short, beginner-friendly entry to certified diving in south-ari-atoll, getting you breathing and moving underwater to shallow recreational depth on the atoll's warm house reefs. It is an easy stepping stone toward the full Scuba Diver or Open Water certification.
Through PADI this entry level uses PADI eLearning and credits toward the PADI Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver certifications, with Project AWARE awareness built in.
You develop skills in South Ari's sheltered house-reef shallows, where calm, warm water makes learning easy. The shallow coral here is busy with reef fish and the odd passing turtle, a gentle introduction before deeper atoll diving.
