Course overview

The PADI Deep Diver course opens Bali's deeper terrain. The volcanic Drop Off wall near Tulamben descends past 40m, covered in gorgonians and sponges that grew on rock from a Mount Agung eruption. Across four dives you learn to manage gas, narcosis and decompression status while diving the deeper reaches of the Liberty wreck and the wall. It gives you access to Bali's steepest wall scenery.

The PADI Deep Diver pathway

PADI Deep Diver uses eLearning theory and four logged training dives. It certifies you to the recreational limit of 40m and counts toward Master Scuba Diver with the PADI specialty card.

Where you'll dive in Bali

Deep dives use Tulamben's Drop Off, a sheer volcanic wall descending past 40m and on to 70m, plus the deeper sections of the Liberty wreck, where reef sharks and larger pelagics patrol the cooler, dimmer water.
