Course overview

The PADI Deep Diver specialty on Havelock takes you safely to 40 metres in the Andaman Sea, where deeper reefs and pinnacles bring larger marine life. At sites like The Wall and Dixon's Pinnacle you will practise deep-dive planning while watching for reef sharks and barracuda. It is a key specialty for divers who want to explore the region's full depth range.

The PADI Deep Diver pathway

PADI Deep Diver uses eLearning and a digital card, extends your depth limit to 40 metres, and is a common Master Scuba Diver specialty.

Where you'll dive in Havelock Island

Deep training uses Havelock's deeper sites such as The Wall and Dixon's Pinnacle, descending toward 40 metres in clear Andaman water. At depth you may encounter reef sharks, barracuda schools and larger pelagics. The clear visibility helps you monitor your buddy and your gauges through the descent.
