Extend your range to recreational depths with the PADI Deep Diver specialty in Komodo, a strong place to learn deep-diving discipline among the park's pinnacles, walls and seamounts. You practise descent-stop decisions, gas planning and narcosis management on real vertical relief at sites that drop well past 30 metres. You finish certified to dive to a maximum of 40 metres.
PADI Deep Diver is a specialty course that counts toward the Master Scuba Diver rating and extends your recreational depth limit to 40 metres. It pairs well with the Enriched Air specialty for longer no-decompression times at depth.
Komodo's vertical relief makes it a strong deep-training ground, with walls, pinnacles and seamounts dropping past 30 metres where divers practise descent-stop decisions and profile reading during the calmer April-to-November season.
