The PADI Deep Diver specialty on Neil Island takes you past 18 metres on Andaman drop-offs like The Wall, where you learn to plan and monitor dives down to 40 metres. Neil's calm conditions and deep-water sites make controlled descents straightforward to practise.
PADI Deep Diver uses PADI Touch eLearning, includes four progressively deeper dives, and counts toward Master Scuba Diver with a PADI card.
Deep training on Neil centres on The Wall, a 10-30 m drop-off that continues deeper and hosts Napoleon wrasse, snappers and the occasional turtle. The calm November-May season and 27-30C water make deep descents comfortable and controlled.
