Course overview

Try breathing underwater for the first time with PADI Discover Scuba Diving in Cyprus, an introductory experience that needs no prior training. Guided by an instructor in the calm, warm shallows of Green Bay, you learn a few basic skills and then explore the Mediterranean, often meeting reef fish, octopus and the occasional turtle.

What you’ll learn

• Breathe comfortably underwater using scuba equipment
• Equalise your ears and clear water from your mask
• Recover and clear your regulator
• Move and control buoyancy underwater with an instructor
• Enjoy a guided shallow dive in the Mediterranean

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 10
• No experience or swimming certification required
• Reasonable health and comfort in the water
• Brief medical questionnaire (doctor sign-off if any condition applies)
