PADI's Discover Scuba Diving is a non-certification intro using a short briefing and instructor-supervised dive. Participation can later credit toward the PADI Open Water course.
The experience runs in Dahab's sheltered, shallow shore bays at the Lighthouse and Mashraba, where flat water, easy entry and reef life like turtles, parrotfish and Anthias make a good first underwater encounter to around 6-12m.
