Try scuba diving for the first time with the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience in Djibouti, breathing underwater in the warm, calm shallows of the Gulf of Tadjoura. Under the direct supervision of a PADI professional you learn a few basic skills and make a guided dive to a maximum of 12 metres. It is an easy introduction to one of the Red Sea's quietest reef destinations, with no certification required.
PADI Discover Scuba Diving is an introductory experience, not a certification. The skills you practise can later be credited toward the PADI Open Water Diver course if you decide to continue your training.
The experience uses sheltered, shallow reef sites in the Gulf of Tadjoura, where calm conditions and warm 24-30°C water through the October-to-February peak make an easy, welcoming first dive.
