Try breathing underwater for the first time with the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience on Grand Cayman, a good place to start thanks to its calm, clear and warm Caribbean water. Under the direct supervision of a PADI Instructor, you learn a few basic skills in shallow water and then explore a gentle reef full of colourful fish. It is not a certification, but it is a fair taste of diving in some of the world's clearest water.
PADI Discover Scuba Diving is an introductory experience, not a certification. If you enjoy it, your skills can be credited toward the PADI Open Water Diver course with the same instructor.
The experience uses sheltered, shallow reef sites off Grand Cayman's western shoreline near George Town, where calm, warm and very clear water and plenty of fish make a relaxed, confidence-building introduction.
