Try scuba for the first time in the warm, calm shallows of Sharm El Sheikh with PADI's Discover Scuba Diving experience. After a short briefing, an instructor guides you on a shallow reef dive over coral heads where clownfish and butterflyfish dart between the branches. No certification or prior experience is needed, just curiosity and a love of the sea.
PADI's Discover Scuba Diving is a non-certification experience that uses the PADI system. If you continue to Open Water, the dive can credit toward your first training dive.
First-timers dive sheltered reef sites such as Ras Katy and Near Garden, where shallow 0-12m water, easy entries and 20-30m visibility keep things stress-free. The coral gardens hold clownfish, angelfish and the occasional passing turtle in 24-28C water.
