PADI runs the Divemaster on eLearning with the digital Divemaster manual and includes Project AWARE. It is the most widely requested pro credential at Caribbean resorts and is issued as a PADI card.
Divemaster candidates guide along Cozumel's drift reefs (Palancar at 30-40 m, Santa Rosa Wall and Columbia), where reading current and positioning divers is a daily task. The sheltered Cielo reef is used for mapping and skill circuits, and nutrient-rich water brings in turtles, eagle rays and nurse sharks.
