Become a PADI Divemaster in Coron and earn your first professional rating among one of the largest collections of WWII Japanese wrecks anywhere. You build stamina and supervision skills as you map sites and guide fellow divers, from the shallow Lusong Gunboat to the deeper Olympia Maru, all in warm 27-29C water. The Divemaster certification qualifies you to lead certified divers and assist instructors on courses.
PADI Divemaster is the first professional level in the PADI system and the prerequisite for the Instructor Development Course. You renew the rating each year, and it lets you work as a certified-diver guide and instructional assistant worldwide.
Coron's mix of shallow gunboats, deeper cargo wrecks and reef sites such as Siete Pecados gives Divemaster candidates plenty of variety to practise guiding and mapping. Warm 27-29C water and a long November-to-May high season make for consistent training days.
