Earn your first professional rating with the PADI Divemaster course in Muscat, the launch point for scuba diving at Oman's Daymaniyat Islands and the rocky reefs of Bandar Khayran. Working alongside instructors on boat dives to Fahal Island and the offshore reserve, you build the dive-leadership, mapping and supervision skills that let you guide certified divers and assist on courses. You finish ready to work in the global dive industry as a certified PADI Divemaster.
The PADI Divemaster rating is the first professional level in the PADI system and qualifies you to guide certified divers, assist instructors and run select PADI programmes. It is the prerequisite for entering the Instructor Development Course.
Divemaster training runs from Muscat's coast out to Bandar Khayran's sheltered lagoons, the wreck-strewn reefs around Fahal Island and the protected Daymaniyat Islands. Water sits at 24-30C, and the September-to-April high season gives reliable conditions for leadership practice.
