Become a dive professional with the PADI Divemaster course in the Seychelles, your first leadership rating and the start of a career in the dive industry. Training takes place across Mahe's boulder reefs, wrecks and marine-park sites, where you build stamina, sharpen rescue skills and learn to guide certified divers through real Indian Ocean conditions. You finish qualified to lead dives, assist instructors and supervise certified-diver activities.
PADI Divemaster is the first professional rating in the PADI system and the prerequisite for the Instructor Development Course. Certified Divemasters can guide certified divers, assist PADI instructors and, with further training, independently conduct certain PADI programmes.
Leadership training spans Mahe's granite-boulder reefs, marine-park sites like Bay Ternay and shipwrecks such as the Twin Barges, so you train in the calm-to-moderate currents and 26-30C water you will later guide in. Visibility is best around April-May and September-November, when whale sharks pass through often.
