Become a PADI Divemaster on Tioman and take your first step into the diving profession. The island has more than 20 dive sites, sheltered bays and UNESCO marine-park reefs, which make a practical training ground. Over the programme you build stamina and dive-leadership skills guiding certified divers around sites like Renggis Island and the boulder swim-throughs of the north coast, and you finish as a certified dive professional able to supervise activities and assist on courses.
PADI Divemaster is the first professional rating in the PADI system. It qualifies you to supervise diving activities, assist instructors on courses and independently guide certified divers, and it is the prerequisite to the Instructor Development Course.
Leadership training and stamina assessments use Tioman's calm bays and varied reefs, from the easy boulders off Renggis Island to the deeper swim-throughs and pinnacles further offshore, during the settled March-to-October season inside the marine park.
