Course overview

Cover more of Nusa Penida's reefs and work with its currents using the PADI Diver Propulsion Vehicle specialty, learning to operate an underwater scooter safely. A DPV lets you range further along sites like Toyapakeh and save energy against the drift, reaching more of the reef in a single dive. The certification qualifies you to dive with a DPV to recreational depth.

Prerequisites

• Minimum age 12 (Junior) or 15 for the full certification

1. Day1
   DPV dives

   After a handling and planning briefing, complete two training dives operating the scooter and refining buoyancy along a Nusa reef such as Toyapakeh.
