Complete your PADI-backed Emergency First Response training in Cancún or Cozumel. This is the CPR and first-aid certification you need before the Rescue Diver course and every dive-pro rating. It is a land-based day that fits neatly into a reef-diving holiday on the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef.

The PADI Emergency First Response pathway

PADI's Emergency First Response uses EFR digital materials and meets the prerequisite for PADI Rescue Diver and all professional ratings. Certification is valid for 24 months.

Where you'll dive in Cancun Cozumel

This is a dry, classroom-based course held at the dive base in Cancún or Cozumel, so no dive site is involved. It makes a good rest-day activity between reef dives at Manchones or Palancar.
