PADI Emergency First Response on Havelock teaches the CPR and first-aid skills every diver should have, useful both in the water and in daily life. Run alongside dive training in the island setting, it is a practical, hands-on course that prepares you to act in an emergency. It is also a prerequisite for the Rescue Diver and professional courses offered here.
PADI EFR is based on internationally recognised emergency-care guidelines, uses eLearning, and meets the first-aid prerequisite for Rescue and pro courses.
Emergency First Response is run on land at the dive centre rather than in the water, so it fits easily around your Havelock dive schedule. It pairs naturally with the in-water rescue training the Andaman Sea sites are used for. No diving experience is required to take it.
