The PADI Emergency First Response course in Muscat builds the CPR and first-aid confidence to act in an emergency, in or out of the water. It is a non-diving classroom programme that satisfies the emergency-care prerequisite for PADI Rescue Diver and Divemaster, which makes it a natural pairing with the dive training many travellers do alongside Oman's Daymaniyat boat trips. You finish with a recognised primary and secondary care certification.
PADI Emergency First Response teaches internationally recognised CPR and first-aid standards and meets the emergency-care requirement for PADI Rescue Diver and Divemaster. Certification is valid for 24 months before a refresher is recommended.
This is a classroom-based course held at the dive centre in Muscat with no in-water component, so it runs in any season and pairs easily with diving days out to Bandar Khayran or the Daymaniyat Islands.
