Learn to respond to medical emergencies with the PADI Emergency First Response course, available at Khao Lak alongside Similan Islands dive training. This non-diving programme teaches CPR and first-aid skills that meet the prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver and Divemaster ratings, which makes it a common add-on for divers working through the professional pathway.
PADI Emergency First Response is the agency's CPR and first-aid programme, internationally recognised and accepted as the first-aid prerequisite for PADI Rescue Diver and Divemaster. The completion rating is valid for 24 months.
This is a classroom-based, non-diving course run at the Khao Lak dive centre. It is commonly scheduled alongside Rescue Diver or Divemaster training ahead of Similan Islands trips.
