The PADI Emergency First Response course teaches primary and secondary care before you tackle Rescue Diver in south-ari-atoll, where remote island and liveaboard diving makes confident first-aid skills genuinely useful. It is classroom and dry-land based, run between dives at your island or resort base.
PADI EFR follows internationally recognised CPR and first-aid guidelines, uses PADI eLearning or printed materials, and issues a two-year EFR completion card.
This is a surface-based course held at your island or boat base in south-ari-atoll, so no dive site is needed. It is the standard partner to Rescue Diver before you head out to the channel and whale-shark sites.
