Course overview

Get more bottom time and shorter surface intervals with the PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver specialty out of Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island. Nitrox is especially valuable in the Galapagos, where repetitive dives on deep, current-swept sites like Gordon Rocks and Cousins Rock benefit from extended no-decompression limits. You earn the PADI Enriched Air Diver certification on completion.

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Nitrox theory & analysis

   Complete enriched-air knowledge development, practise cylinder analysis and maximum-operating-depth calculations, and set up a nitrox computer.
2. Day2
   Optional enriched-air dives

   Apply the skills on optional nitrox dives at repetitive sites like North Seymour or Cousins Rock, with longer no-decompression limits.
