Course overview

Fun dives in Alor let certified divers explore the archipelago's top sites without any course structure, from the wall at Bama to the macro slopes of Masjid Ampera. Usually run as a multi-dive day from the boat, they put you face to face with Alor's pelagics, sharks and dense macro life across drift and wall sites.

What you’ll learn

• Dive guided sites suited to your certification and experience
• Read and ride Alor's currents on drift dives
• Spot signature macro life like pygmy seahorses and frogfish
• Encounter pelagics such as sharks, dogtooth tuna and trevallies
• Refine buoyancy and air management across multiple dives
• Build your logbook at varied wall, reef and muck sites

Prerequisites

• Open Water Diver certification or higher
• Advanced Open Water recommended for deeper and current sites
• Recent dive experience or a refresher if out of practice
• Comfortable managing current entries
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician
