Certified divers can explore Oman's best sites on guided PADI fun dives from Muscat, with boat trips to the Daymaniyat Islands, Bandar Khayran and the wreck reefs of Fahal Island. Depending on conditions and your experience you may share the water with turtles, reef sharks, eagle rays and, in season, whale sharks. No course, just diving, with depths to 30 metres for suitably certified divers.
Fun dives are guided recreational dives for already-certified divers, with no instruction or certification involved. Maximum depth follows your existing PADI (or equivalent) certification level.
Fun dives reach Muscat's signature sites: the Daymaniyat Islands marine reserve for reefs and seasonal whale sharks, Bandar Khayran's lagoons, and the coral-covered wrecks around Fahal Island, all in warm 24-30C water and best September to April.
