The PADI Instructor / IDC pathway

Pass the IE and you become a teaching member of PADI with a renewable Open Water Scuba Instructor rating and access to the worldwide PADI jobs network.

Where you'll dive in Galapagos

Teaching workshops are based at Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz. Forgiving sites like North Seymour, Mosquera and Santa Fe suit skill circuits, while stronger sites such as Gordon Rocks let you rehearse current briefings. The cool, current-driven waters here (16-26C) are excellent training grounds, and the peak June-to-November upwelling brings the biggest schooling action.
