Train to the top recreational level as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor in the quiet waters off Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep). Small daily dive volumes here mean your candidacy gets real instructor-trainer attention. You will sharpen teaching presentations and confined-water control on the same gentle reefs near Nemo Reef and Coral Safari that beginners learn on, then practise open-water skill demonstrations on deeper sites like The Wall.
PADI's IDC pairs PADI Touch eLearning and printed instructor manuals with a structured IDC, followed by an independent two-day Instructor Examination. Success earns a globally recognised PADI instructor card.
Candidacy dives run across Neil's protected, sandy-bottomed reefs such as Nemo Reef (5-12 m, anemone clownfish) and Coral Safari (5-20 m), with deeper skill demonstrations at The Wall, a 10-30 m drop-off where larger fish gather. The calm, current-light conditions from November to May and 27-30C water make this a good place to refine teaching control.
