PADI Night Diver is a recreational specialty that counts toward the Master Scuba Diver rating. It is commonly combined with other specialties to build experience after Open Water certification.
Night dives use sheltered reef sites in the bays off Long Beach and Coral Bay, where calm conditions during the March-to-October season make good first night dives to spot octopus, moray eels and other nocturnal life.
