See a different underwater world after dark with the PADI Night Diver specialty in Tarkarli-Malvan. Over three night dives in the calm, sheltered bay you learn light handling, night navigation and how to spot nocturnal marine life such as octopus, crabs and hunting moray eels.
PADI Night Diver is a recreational specialty that counts toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating and can satisfy the Advanced Open Water night-dive adventure requirement.
Night dives use the sheltered, shallow bay off Tarkarli and Malvan, beside Sindhudurg Fort. The water is warm at 26-29C, and in the post-monsoon October-to-May season the Konkan coast stays calm and clear, which makes after-dark diving relaxed. Expect octopus, crabs, moray eels and other nocturnal reef life.
