PADI Rescue Diver is widely regarded as the most rewarding PADI course, and it is a prerequisite for the Divemaster professional rating. Current Emergency First Response (or equivalent CPR/first aid) training is required to certify.
Rescue scenarios run in the calm-to-moderate conditions of sheltered bays and reef sites around Guadalcanal and Munda, with warm 27-30°C water through the April-to-November peak keeping practice comfortable and realistic.
