The PADI Rescue Diver course on Tioman takes a confident diver and builds the skills to prevent and manage emergencies calmly. Practising self-rescue and diver-assist scenarios in the calm, warm water of Tioman's sheltered bays, you learn to spot trouble early and respond with confidence, in what many divers describe as the most rewarding course they take.
PADI Rescue Diver is the final core recreational course before professional ratings and a prerequisite for Divemaster. Combined with Emergency First Response it counts toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.
Rescue training uses Tioman's calm, easily accessible northern bays and gentle reefs, where warm 27-30C water and settled March-to-October conditions let you focus on technique rather than fighting the sea.
