The PADI Self-Reliant Diver pathway

PADI's Self-Reliant Diver specialty requires 100 logged dives, focuses on redundancy and self-sufficiency, follows the Project AWARE ethic and issues a lifetime PADI specialty card.

Where you'll dive in Pondicherry

Self-Reliant training uses Pondicherry's reef and deeper Bay of Bengal sites, from shallow structures to the 30m Aravind Wall. Calm Oct-May seas and 27-30C water create the controlled conditions in which to safely rehearse redundancy and independent problem-solving.
