Course overview

PADI Specialty courses in Alor let you tailor your diving to the archipelago's strengths, whether that is drift diving the currents, working deep walls, refining buoyancy for macro photography or learning enriched-air diving. Each focused specialty adds two or more dives to your logbook and counts toward the Master Scuba Diver rating.

What you’ll learn

• Improve safety, planning and dive management
• Build experience toward the Master Scuba Diver rating
• Gain confidence in current, deep or macro environments
• Expand the range of diving you can do independently

Prerequisites

• Minimum age varies by specialty (often 10-15)
• PADI Open Water Diver or higher (some require Advanced)
• Prerequisites depend on the specific specialty chosen
• Comfortable with relevant dive conditions
• Diver medical clearance signed by a physician

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day1
   Theory & first dives

   Complete the knowledge development for your chosen specialty and begin the relevant dives on suitable Alor sites.
2. Day2
   Skills & certification

   Finish the required specialty dives, applying your new skills before earning the certification.
