The PADI Wreck Diver specialty teaches you to safely explore sunken wrecks, a skill that opens up the structures and artificial reefs around the Maldives near Baa Atoll. Across four dives you learn survey, mapping and penetration-line techniques while diving to 30 metres on suitable sites accessed from Dharavandhoo.
PADI Wreck Diver covers responsible wreck exploration to recreational limits, including limited penetration using proper lines and training. It is one of the dives that can also count toward the Master Scuba Diver rating.
Wreck training uses suitable structures and sunken vessels reachable from Baa Atoll in warm 27-30°C water, where good visibility helps you practise survey and line techniques safely.
