Learn to explore sunken structures safely with the PADI Wreck Diver specialty in Moalboal, Cebu, where a small airplane wreck off Panagsama Beach makes an accessible local training site. Over four dives this scuba diving course covers survey, mapping, penetration-line use and safe-exit techniques on a real wreck in warm Visayan water. You finish certified as a PADI Wreck Diver, ready to dive wrecks across the Philippines responsibly.
The PADI Wreck Diver specialty consists of four dives and can be credited toward the Master Scuba Diver rating. Full wreck penetration requires the appropriate training, equipment and experience beyond the recreational survey-level skills taught here.
Wreck training is based on the small airplane wreck near Panagsama Beach, an accessible site in warm 27-29°C water. The steep house-reef wall and Pescador Island lie close by for the associated deeper and survey dives. Conditions are calmest December to May.
