Explore Phuket's shipwrecks with the PADI Wreck Diver specialty, centred on the King Cruiser, the sunken ferry that is now one of the Andaman Sea's most popular wreck dives. You learn safe survey, navigation and penetration techniques over four wreck dives, gaining the skills to responsibly explore sunken ships, planes and structures. It pairs well with the Deep Diver specialty.
PADI Wreck Diver is a specialty that counts toward the Master Scuba Diver rating. It teaches recreational wreck skills including limited penetration within recreational limits; full overhead-environment penetration requires further technical training.
The King Cruiser wreck, lying between Phuket and Phi Phi near Anemone Reef and Shark Point, is the main training site, with the best visibility and calmest seas during the November-to-April dry season.
