The PADI Wreck Diver specialty in Rasdhoo Atoll adds wreck diving to your logbook. Compact sunken structures sit within easy boat range of the island and host dense resident fish life. You learn safe wreck-survey and exploration techniques on real Maldivian wrecks, and you finish certified to dive wrecks responsibly to recreational limits.
The PADI Wreck Diver specialty requires four dives and counts toward the Master Scuba Diver rating. It covers responsible, limited penetration but does not qualify you for full overhead-environment or technical wreck diving.
Training runs on the atoll's accessible wreck sites, such as the compact Reef Explorer wreck and the historic Kuramathi Queen, both a short boat ride from the island and rich with resident sweetlips, batfish, morays and angelfish. The calm season from November to April gives the steady visibility that suits survey and mapping work.
