Earn your PADI Wreck Diver specialty among the Seychelles' Indian Ocean shipwrecks, including the Twin Barges off Mahe and the wreck of the Ennerdale. Over four dives you learn to survey, map and safely explore wrecks, which here draw reef sharks, batfish and resident marine life. You finish certified to plan and conduct recreational wreck dives.
PADI Wreck Diver is a recreational specialty focused on safe exploration. Full penetration into overhead environments requires the dedicated training and guidelines taught in the course. The specialty counts toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.
Wreck training centres on Mahe's accessible wrecks such as the Twin Barges and the larger Ennerdale. They sit on sand near granite reef and draw reef sharks, batfish and morays in 26-30C water. The calmer April-May and September-November windows give the best visibility for wreck work.
