Earn your SSI Advanced Adventurer certification at Sipadan and open up the region's deeper, more advanced diving on the Sipadan walls and the macro reefs of Mabul and Kapalai. Across five adventure dives you sample specialties such as deep, navigation, drift and perfect buoyancy among turtles, reef sharks and barracuda. It is the SSI rating that takes you to 30 metres and sets you up for further specialty training.
SSI Advanced Adventurer requires five adventure dives from different specialties and certifies you to a maximum depth of 30 metres. Completing the full specialties later upgrades you toward SSI Advanced Open Water, and the rating is recorded in your SSI digital logbook.
Adventure dives combine the deep walls around Sipadan Island with the macro reefs of Mabul and Kapalai for a true mix of wall, drift and muck diving. April to October brings the calmest conditions and best visibility.
