The SSI Perfect Buoyancy specialty counts toward the SSI Specialty Diver and Master Diver recognitions, with digital theory and certification recorded in the SSI app. It is widely recommended for reef protection and better diving overall.
Training uses Hikkaduwa's shallow coral gardens and house reef, where calm, protected conditions make a good classroom for practising hovering and trim without disturbing the coral.
