Try scuba for the first time with the SSI Try Scuba experience on Kadmat Island. With an instructor beside you the whole time, you learn a handful of essential skills in the calm Lakshadweep lagoon, then dive the shallow coral reef of this remote atoll, with no certification or previous experience needed.
SSI Try Scuba is an introductory experience rather than a certification. The experience can be credited toward the SSI Open Water Diver course and is logged in your SSI digital profile.
Your introduction takes place in the sheltered, shallow Kadmat lagoon, followed by a short guided dive over the nearby coral reef where turtles and reef fish are commonly seen in clear, calm water. October to May is the best season.
