Take your first breaths underwater with the SSI Try Scuba experience in Malta and Gozo, a guided introduction in the calm, clear Mediterranean. With an instructor beside you, you descend at a sheltered Gozo or Cirkewwa shore site to around 12 metres and meet colourful reef fish in outstanding visibility. No prior experience or certification is needed.
SSI Try Scuba is a guided introductory experience rather than a certification. If you progress to the SSI Open Water Diver course, the session can usually be credited toward it.
Try Scuba takes place at sheltered, shallow shore entries on Gozo and around Cirkewwa, where calm water and visibility often exceeding 30 metres create an ideal first dive.
