Start your diving career with the SSI Divemaster rating in Trincomalee, the first professional level in the SSI system. Training across the reefs of Pigeon Island Marine Park and the deeper sites around Trincomalee bay, you develop the dive-leadership, supervision and problem-management skills to guide certified divers on Sri Lanka's east coast and worldwide.
SSI Divemaster is the entry-level professional rating in the SSI system and the gateway to instructor training. SSI courses run on a digital platform through the DiveSSI app and are recognised internationally.
You train across the calm Nilaveli bays, the Pigeon Island Marine Park reefs and the deeper rocky sites near Swami Rock, with conditions at their best during the calm May-to-September window, with April and October still diveable on either side.
