The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty certifies you to dive nitrox for longer no-decompression times, a real advantage on Koh Lanta's multi-dive day trips. With extended bottom time you can stay longer on the deep walls of Hin Daeng and Hin Muang or make relaxed back-to-back dives at Koh Haa with more conservative profiles. It is the most popular specialty among active divers.
The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty can be completed as a knowledge-development course and counts toward SSI's Master Diver recognition. Theory is delivered through SSI's free digital training app, with hands-on gas analysis at the dive centre.
Nitrox is most valuable on Koh Lanta's repetitive day-boat diving, extending bottom time on the deeper pinnacles of Hin Daeng and Hin Muang and across multi-dive days at Koh Haa. The November-to-April season has the calmest conditions for these longer dives.
